Juvvasshytta - Galdhöpiggen

Route info

Description

Save some time and visit Galdhöpiggen from Juvvasshytta. On this alternative you walk over the glacier. The route start from the lodge where you can join a guided tour if you don't have glacier equipment or experience.

From the ski center around Veslejuvbreen you walk over the stone area and when you reach Styggebreen it's time for the glacier equipment. Then you continue over Styggebreen up to the more steeper parts. Perhaps you have to fight a bit to get to the last hill.

Now you just enjoy the landscape and look over the whole Jotunheimen area. This route is like the normal one from Spiterstulen very popular.
