Route info
Description This is a route where you can tryout the ferry life. Jump into the boat and travel right into the wilderness of Jotunheimens. If you want you can take care of your friends back packs when they walk along Gjende and you just rest. Take a look at Besseggen and Bukkelägret. Two impressive routes. Ferry time The ferry from Gjendesheim to Gjendebu will take about 1 hour. Worth to know There's a lot of people here in Gjendesheim in July so count on queuing.

Lodge info
Gjendebu - 990 metres a.s Staffed DNT lodge with 119 beds. Season: end of june to mid of september. Many people passes this lodge located at the end of Lake Gjende. It's a rather cozy place. Home page: http://www.gjendebu.com Email: lahilde@online.no Phone: 57 87 43 00
